Here is my submission for The Pinup Parlor exhibition.
” The Mal”, a portrait of Marilyn Monroe. 570 by 770mm, aerosol paint and acrylic paint.
The Pin Up Parlor will be an evening of classic 1950’s charm and wonder, infused with frivolity and all that went on behind the scenes.
The Pin Up Parlor will feature an exhibition of 14 of the hottest artists Sydney has to offer curated by Betty Belle. Amongst the talent is Mr Sweet, a finalist in the Australian Stencil Art Prize and other artists: Myself (TEEM), Alex LeHours, Helen Proctor and John Forno who will be sending his work down from Brisbane. Tattoo artist Vanessa Rodriguez and tattoo inspired illustrator Betty Belle. The remaining artists and designers will create a dynamic evening of creative viewing.
